For a complete analysis report, it is necessary to contact a gemological laboratory. These laboratories are equipped with scanning electron microscopes (SEM) to examine the surface characteristics of the stone and RAMAN spectrometers to determine the chemical composition and molecular structure of the gemstone. The analysis of tiny inclusions makes it possible to find out the origin and formation conditions of every gemstone.
It is recommended to make this type of analyses on stones having an important value.
